No. 1: I, Joe Ayd, aged 25 years, occupation Merchandising, do declare on oath that my personal description is: Color White, complexion Dark, height 5 feet 8 inches, weight 175 pounds, color of hair Black, color of eyes Brown, other visible distinctive marks: Blue marks on right arm; I was born in Damascus, Syria, Turkey on the 16th of March, anno Domini 1884; I now reside at Newton, Miss. I emigrated to the United States of America from Syria, Turkey on the vessel Steamer Hamburg American Hine; My last foreign residence was Damascus, Syria. It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, and particularly to Mohammed V., sultan of Turkey, of which I am now a subject; I arrived at the port of New York, in the State of New York on or about the 4th day of November anno Domini 1904. Dated: 23rd day of December, 1909.

No. 2: I, Farwell Felman, aged 20 years, occupation Salesman, do declare on oath that my personal description is: Color White, complexion Dark, height 5 feet 5 inches, weight 140 pounds, color of hair Black, color of eyes Black, other visible distinctive marks: None; I was born in Galacia, Austria on the 15th day of May, anno Domini 1890; I now reside at Newton, Mississippi. I emigrated to the United States of America from Bremen, Germany on the vessel Main N. G. Lloyd; my last foreign residence was Nanowa, Austria. It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, and particularly to Francis Joseph, Emperor of Austria, of which I am now a subject; I arrived at the port of New York in the State of New York on or about the 4th day of January, anno Domini 1907. Dated: 7th July 1910.

No. 3 I, Kally Asoff, aged 32 years occupation Mercantile Business do declare on oath that my personal description is: Color White, complexion Dark, height 5 feet 6 inches, weight 129 pounds, color of hair Black, color of eyes gray, other visible distinctive marks: Blue marks on right hand and arm; I was born in Damascus Syria Turkey on the 4th day of July, anno domini 1878; I now reside at Newton, Mississippi. I emigrated to the United States of America from Columbia, South America on the vessel (Can't give name); my last foreign residence was Damascus, Syria, Turkey. It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, and particularly to Mohammed V. Sulton of Turkey, of which I am now a subject; I arrived at the port of New York, in the State of New York on or about the 15th day of March, anno Domini 1907. Dated: 13th December 1910.

No. 4 I, Ellis Sadka, aged 29 years, occupation Merchandising, do declare on oath that my personal description is: Color White, Complextion Dark, height 5 feet 8 ½ inches, weight 186 pounds, color of hair Black, color of eyes Brown, other visible distinctive marks: None. I was born in Mt. Lebanon, Syria, turkey on the 14th day of February, anno Domini 1882; I now reside at Bottlefud, Newton County, Mississippi. I emigrated to the United States of America from Boyrouth, Syria, Turkey on the vessel Homberg, American Line; my last foreign residence was Mt. Lebanon, Syria, Turkey. It is my bona fide intention to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state or sovereignty, and particularly to Mohammed V., Sulton of Turkey, of which I am now a subject; I arrived at the port of Elposo in the State of Texas on or about 10th day of September, anno Domini 1905. Dated: 12th May 1911.

 

State of Mississippi, Newton County, in the Circuit Court of Newton County, Mississippi, August Term, 1912. ORDER DISCONTINUING NATURALIZATION . It is ordered by the court that from and after the date hereof the naturalization of aliens under the provisions of the Act of June 29, 1906, in the Circuit Court of Newton County, Mississippi, be and the same is hereby discontinued; provided, that such petitions for naturalization as may now be pending before said court shall be duly heard and disposed of. It is further ordered that at such time as petitions now pending before said court have been disposed of, all unused records and blanks heretofore obtained from the Division of Naturalization, Department of Commerce and Labor, for the purpose of naturalizing aliens, shall be returned to said Division together with a certified copy of this order.
