Postal Service to Doolittle Station and Town of Newton

Doolittle Station
Postal service for Doolittle Station was established on November 24, 1860, with John G. Blackwell as postmaster. Service was discontinued on January 21, 1867.
Newton Station/Newton
Postal service to Newton Station was established on December 5, 1860, with James McGrath as postmaster. Service was discontinued on January 15, 1861, and resumed on October 2, 1866. On February 25, 1870, the name was changed from Newton Station to Newton. Other postmasters and postmistresses who served prior to 1935 were:
