Reunions

April 30, 2005 -- A family reunion for the descendants of John N. Brooks and Millicent Moore will be at the Collinsville Community Center. Doors open at 10 a.m. and lunch will be served at noon. John and Millicent Brooks moved to Newton County in 1850. A large number of descendants still live in Lauderdale and Newton County. Some of the surnames are Castle, Thames, Dean and Harrison.
