The Outhouse
Pearl Dantz Beemon, wife of Roy Eli Beemon, was raised in Chicago where she was surrounded by modern conveniences such as indoor plumbing. Necessity, of course, required that she use the outhouse when she visited with her husbands folks in Beat 2, Newton County. She always faced that task with a degree of consternation (if not constipation), as you can tell.
